Position: Programme Officer (Half-time)

Responsibilities
  • To assist social worker to provide casework, groups, programmes and make referral for service users.
  • To provide direct services including outreaching, drop-in service, programmes, groups and enquiry, etc.
  • To assist in networking with potential service users and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in providing interpretation and translation service when in need.
  • Prepare programme material and provide administrative support.
  • Assist in promotion and publicity of the image of the Team.

 

Requirements
  • Completed secondary education in Hong Kong, or attended HKDSE; or completed secondary education in an overseas country or equivalent. 
  • Relevant working experiences in social service is preferred.
  • Relevant working experiences in providing interpretation and translation service is preferred.
  • Fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing English.
  • Fluent in speaking and listening at least 1 Ethnic Minority languages.
  • Computer literate with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to work on shift and during irregular hours (e.g. during evenings and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
  • Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
