Children & Youth Service

Service Introduction

We concern the holistic development of children and youth. Our service aims at assisting them to become happy, self-actualised, caring and contributive members of the society. The four Happy Teens Clubs and Clap for Youth@JC (Second Phase) provide different kinds of supportive and counselling services and career and life planning service for young people in disadvantaged circumstances. 

Service Objectives

We concern the holistic development of children and youth. We help them to develop their potentials to the fullest and to build positive values. We also assist them to deal with difficulties encountered in daily life and facilitate them to establish harmonious interpersonal and family relationship.

Service Targets

Children and youth aged 6 to 24 and their families.

Service Content

• To provide integrated children and youth service and stationing school social work service in Kwun Tong, Shamshuipo and North Point Districts.
• To provide one-stop career and life counselling service in Kowloon West District.
• To provide service for young night drifters in Shamshuipo District.
• To provide supportive service for hidden youth in Shamshuipo District and Hong Kong Island.

Service Approach

We adopt a comprehensive and multi-level social work approach to meet the multifarious needs of children and youth. We provide individual counselling, groups activiities, adventure-based training, civic education activities, outreaching and community work. We strive for creativity and innovation in our provision of professional services. We aim at providing excellent, effective social services that are evidence-based and theory-driven.
